You’re not the most good looking girl, so you have to make sure that you work really hard.”
In 2008, Anushka made her acting debut in Aditya Chopra’s romantic drama Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, opposite Shah Rukh Khan. She prepared for her screen test in one day and was signed for a three-film deal with Yash Raj Films. The film was a superhit and Sharma received amazing reviews for her performance.
