Economist Stephen Moore gushed over President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming second term in office on Saturday, declaring he “brings miracles to the country.”
Moore joined Fox & Friends Weekend’s Will Cain on Saturday to discuss Trump and promote his book The Trump Economic Miracle. Moore is a former economic advisor to the former president. Moore credited Trump with bringing a “new kind of patriotism” to the country, insisting people are “upbeat” about the future when it comes to the economy.
Moore said:
People are just feeling like good things are coming with the Trump economic agenda, you know? I’m proud of that. I helped with the agenda in the first term, but I think people look back at those four years when Trump was president and say, hey, that was — maybe I didn’t like this or that about Trump, but they were prosperous years for the country. I think you’re going to see Trump will right out of the gate, literally on January 21st, signing executive orders, promoting American energy. We’re going to get that tax cut done. All of these things are good for — things are good for America!
Cain agreed he only heard positive things from Americans during a recent trip to Alabama.
“Trump has also instilled a kind of new patriotism in this country,” Moore said, adding, “Why do you think you see so much foreign money coming into the United States? Even foreigners are looking at what’s happening here and saying, hey, good things are coming to America. It’s kind of amazing that one man, Donald Trump, could totally change the mood of the country.
As the interview wrapped, Moore credited Trump with having the ability to bring “miracles” to the country.
“That’s why I called this book the trump economic miracle, because this guy brings miracles to the country,” he said. “We’re going to see. And I think it’s going to happen quickly, by the way. First day in office.”
