Sopranos Star Blasts ‘Integrity’ of Celeb Harris Backers

Sopranos actress Drea de Matteo said she questions the “integrity” of celebrities throwing their support behind Vice President Kamala Harris.

In a Fox Business appearance this week, de Matteo knocked celebrities like George Clooney for taking the same side as former President Dick Cheney in the presidential race. De Matteo was a vocal supporter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. when he was still running his campaign, before he endorsed former President Donald Trump.

De Matteo described herself as “super liberal.”

“I’m still a super liberal so I feel like it’s time for us all to come together but a lot of people on the Left are afraid,” the actress said.

De Matteo is best known for her role as Adriana in HBO’s The Sopranos. She’s also appeared on shows like Sons of Anarchy and Joey. She’s mostly stepped away from acting since launching an OnlyFans and a clothing line.

She accused Clooney and others of “endorsing” war with their Harris support.

“George Clooney, Meryl Streep, all of these huge celebrities endorsing war, supporting Dick Cheney. I don’t understand the inversion and how people have flipped and how people have flipped unless they’re under the gun, so to speak,” De Matteo said.

She went on to declare that Hollywood is “meaningless” in the current election and called the current state of art “stagnant” compared to times filled with more anti-establishment art.

“I think that Hollywood is meaningless in all of this. I think the American dream is on hold,” de Matteo said. “I feel like Hollywood is dead. The music industry is dead. There’s no cultural, artistic movements speaking out.”

She said she questioned the “integrity” of celebrities backing Harris when they may not be completely for her policies, but they are against Trump.

“I find it interesting to see these celebrities that are endorsing a situation that is the antithesis of what they once stood for as celebrities sort of and freedom of everything,” she said. “Speech, art, integrity. I question their integrity right now.”

De Matteo previously told Fox there are “a lot of quiet Trump voters” in Hollywood afraid to speak up.
