Marvel’s new comics this week are bringing the action! As Marvel’s heroes continue to fight the forces of evil, two big debuts this week bring even more drama to the universe. Jonathan Hickman and Stefano Caselli laid the groundwork for a new Ultimate line with Ultimate Universe #1. Now, Deniz Camp and Juan Frigeri continue to build on that in this week’s debut of Ultimates #1. Elsewhere, the Blood Hunt rages on in the Marvel Universe and it is about to get a lot bloodier. Tom Waltz and Juan Jose Ryp debut Wolverine: Blood Hunt #1 this week, bringing the clawed mutant into the fray.
New comics this week also includes Kamala Khan teaming up with the Inhumans to uncover why her powers are on the fritz. Writers Sabir Pirzada and Iman Vellani team up with artist Scott Godlewski for Ms. Marvel: Mutant Menace #4. Speaking of mutants, this week also sees the release of X-Men #35. With Fall of the House of X and Rise of the Powers of X officially concluded, the age of Krakoa is over. Now, the future of mutantkind is about to change and to send it along is an all-star team of writers and artists from the Krakoan Age. This includes Gerry Duggan, Kieron Gillen, Al Ewing, Lucas Werneck, and many more. It also features a new story from X-Men legend Chris Claremont.
This week also brings Venom #34 from Al Ewing and Juan Ferreyra. In the issue, Lee Price is back and has his fangs set on Venom. Of course, with the Blood Hunt event bathing the entire world in eternal darkness, Price is not the only vampire Venom has to worry about. The Blood Hunt also continues in this week’s Blood Hunters #2. As vampires get a taste of the Hulk’s radiated blood Kate Bishop teams up with a mysterious new vampire hunter. Meanwhile, Dagger and Elsa Bloodstone are working to take out the vampiric hordes.

New comics this week also features Spider-Man having a not-so-good day. The Amazing Spider-Man #51 finds Peter Parker’s life falling around him. Norman Osborne is once again the Green Goblin and the Sinister Six are back and ready to make Spidey’s life rough. The issue is written by Zeb Wells with art from Ed Mcguiness, Todd Nauck, Mark Farmer, Cliff Rathburn, and Wade Von Grawbadger.
