IMDb has unveiled its list of the most popular stars of 2024, and to everyone’s surprise, the number one spot does not belong to Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, or Alia Bhatt. Instead, the top position is claimed by an actress from a film released in 2023, who has taken the industry by storm! Can you guess who she is?

The actress who secured the number one position in IMDb’s “Most Popular Star of 2024” list is none other than Animal’s “Bhabhi No. 2,” Tripti Dimri. With this remarkable achievement, Tripti has surpassed some of Bollywood’s biggest names, including Deepika, Shah Rukh, and Alia, in terms of popularity.
On Thursday, IMDb revealed its list of the top 10 most popular Indian stars of 2024, determined by actual page views from over 250 million monthly visitors on IMDb. Tripti Dimri became an overnight sensation with her role in Animal, starring alongside Ranbir Kapoor. In addition to Animal, she featured in three films this year: Bad News, Vicky Vidya Ka Wo Wala Video, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
