ALTHOUGH summer is the most expensive time to go on a staycation, we might have found a way to work around the high prices.
Haven has released new deals starting from £59 per stay, but only for those willing to travel during the week.
The cheapest deals we’ve spotted are on four-night stays departing on Monday and returning on Friday.
These deals start at £59 per stay, which is just over £3 for four people sharing.
We’ve compared the prices of mid-week stays to the weekends and found there is at least an £80 difference.
For instance, four-night mid-week stays in June are available from £59. Meanwhile, three nights over that same weekend are available from £139.
But it doesn’t end there – as those staying during the week can also take advantage of some cheap offers to eat out.
On top of kids eating for £1, Haven has also launched a “two mains for £18” offer available from Sunday to Thursday.
Combining the two offers, families of four could eat for just £20 per meal.
Haven has more than 35 parks across the nation, including Sussex, Dorset, Kent, Essex, Northumberland, the Lake District, Wales, and Scotland, so holidaymakers have plenty of options.
Here are some of the best mid-week deals we’ve spotted:
June and July
The “Hideaway” package, which does not include on-site entertainment, is the ideal choice for a low-cost stay throughout the summer.
The Hideaway option also allows guests to use Haven’s on-site stores, restaurants, and takeout, but for an additional cost.
However, the “Haven” package offers unrestricted access to all of the park’s features, including dining options, pools, go-karting, bungee trampolining, and both day and nighttime entertainment.
Adults can also enjoy activities and entertainment, with dance nights, quizzes and bingo, to name a few.
We’ve also revealed why spring is the best time for hot tub staycations and our pick of the best deals from £26pp a night.
As well as cheap spa breaks to book this year, with UK stays from £17pp and holidays abroad from £261pp.
