Laurie, who runs the blog Fork to Spoon, suggests using an air fryer instead of boiling your eggs in a pan for the perfect gooey middle.
She explained: “Jammy eggs are a simple, delicious breakfast dish you can make in an air fryer. It’s a great way to use excess eggs and add variety to your usual morning routine!”
So, how exactly do you cook these delightful eggs? Begin by placing up to seven room-temperature eggs into your air fryer basket.
Laurie advises cooking the eggs at 132C for 11 minutes. Just before they’re done, prepare a bowl of ice water. Once the eggs are cooked, immediately transfer them from the air fryer to the ice bath and leave them there for five minutes. This not only makes the eggs easier to peel but also helps achieve that perfectly soft, jammy centre.
