Audiences have dived into the glamorous world of Bollywood once again as Disney+ Hotstar and Dharmatic Entertainment have dropped the pending episodes of the popular web-series Showtime. The industry has everything from dazzling stardom to accepting one’s true self, producer wars to intense struggles. But the resilience to bounce back truly defines a star, as every setback is just a setup for a spectacular comeback and Raghu Khanna (played by Emraan Hashmi) does just that. He is back and here to dominate the world of showbiz.

Recently, Emraan Hashmi was seen elaborating on the experience of shooting one of the most explosive scenes in the series where he enters the newsroom studio and talks about the film industry. Talking about the same, Emraan Hashmi said,” I could connect with the context of the scene of what he’s saying. The subtext of that, of how you get so embroiled and swayed in with your work, and it’s only about films.”
He went on to add, “And a lot of things in your life tend to take a backseat. Also the way the audience views you, from a very unidimensional point of view of how they see film people. Sometimes as commodities and a lot of people just want to troll. They don’t see the humane side of people in this industry. A lot of things have been put into that speech of Raghu, but I think something that all film people feel in a way, that we’re kind of pulled in with this life of films, that sometimes we lose perspective. And the audience also loses perspective and doesn’t tend to see people for who they are. They just see the actor or the director, whoever it is, for their face value, and not the person behind that. So, it’s got a lot of subtexts in it. And yeah, it’s an interesting scene, the way it was written.”
