On Instagram, Deepika posted a picture showcasing her daughter’s tiny feet, which appear to be dressed in an ethnic outfit. Revealing the name in the caption, she wrote, “Dua Padukone Singh | दुआ पादुकोण सिंह ‘Dua’: meaning a Prayer. Because She is the Answer to our Prayers. Our hearts are filled with Love & Gratitude. Deepika & Ranveer.”

The pair, who married in an intimate ceremony in 2018 at Lake Como, Italy, had announced Deepika’s pregnancy in February. Earlier this year, rumours of her pregnancy circulated on social media after she was photographed covering her midsection at the 77th BAFTA Awards, where she appeared as a presenter.
