Police are investigating the cause a fire that ripped though a golf cart garage at a course near the Jersey Shore last week.
The fire happened on Thursday at Stone Harbor Golf Club in the Cape May Court House section of Middle Township, police said in a statement.
Police said they arrived at the golf course off Route 9 to find the garage on fire. Multiple fire companies subsequently doused the blaze.
The cause does not appear suspicious, police said, adding that local officials continued to investigate the blaze.
The 350-acre, 18-hole course was sold last year to Heritage Golf Group, which, at the time of the purchase, owned 31 other courses countrywide.
An email to a company representative by NJ Advance Media for comment was not immediately turned on Monday.
