Benidorm’s best beach is ‘wonderful’ with clean sand | Travel News | Travel

Want to eat a roast dinner under a baking Spanish sun? There’s probably nowhere better than Benidorm.

The iconic resort has been called the most ‘British place in Spain’ and many of its shops, restaurants and bars have a distinctly British theme.

Many of Benidorm’s British tourists are frequent visitors and some even travel to the resort multiple times per year.

While its nightlife and community are certainly a top attraction for many Brits, the resort’s beaches take some beating.

According to Tripadvisor reviews, Playa de Levante is Benidorm’s best beach. The urban beach stretches for 2km and it’s backed by bars, restaurants and nightclubs.

It’s Benidorm’s most popular beach and it’s easily accessible from pretty much any part of the resort town.

‘Neil K’ wrote: “Levante beach is the beach of the New Town and a wonderful beach at that. Sand is clean, water’s clear and inviting and there’s great beach amenities.

“Levante beach is amazing, Benidorm is an amazing and extremely popular sun-kissed resort and most definitely well worth checking out.”

‘Sue and Eric’ said: “Absolutely beautiful beach, well worth a visit. Plenty of sunbeds and parasols. You can walk the whole promenade taking in the sights while catching the sun.”

Another reviewer described it as one of the best beaches in Spain but one person said it might be best-suited to holidaymakers who don’t mind a bit of noise.

As the beach is right in the town, tourists will find it’s quite a noisy spot with lots of music and crowds.
