Allu Arjun is currently ruling the headlines because of his arrest and bail in the stampede case. The Pushpa 2: The Rule actor was arrested from his home in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad on December 13. A case was filed against him after a woman died during a stampede when he visited Sandhya theatre on the premiere night of Pushpa 2: The Rule. A stampede occurred as fans rushed to catch a glimpse of him and a woman lost her life. The family filed an FIR against Allu Arjun, his security team and the theatre owner. The actor was granted interim bail and this morning, he was released from jail. The actor has had his first interaction with the media post bail.
Allu Arjun’s first statement after getting released from jail
Allu Arjun got released from jail and headed straight to Geetha Arts office. Post his meetings, the actor made his way back to Jubilee Hills home. He interacted with the media and thanked all of his fans for the support. He assured his fans that there is nothing to worry about and he is fine. He added that he is a law-abiding citizen and will cooperate in whatever way possible. During the interactions, he once again extended his condolences to the family of the deceased. It was an unfortunate incident and whatever happened was beyond his control, he said. Allu Arjun explained that he has been visiting the theatre for more than 20 years and never has such an incident taken place. But he assured the family that he will be there to support them in whatever way possible. There are more visuals of Allu Arjun greeting the family as he reached home.
