One of the busiest routes in Delhi’s Punjabi Bagh at Bharat Darshan Park junction on Ring Road is soon to be affected due to the construction of an underpass. The officials also suggested the public avoid taking the stretch, and urged the public to take alternate routes if moving towards the affected site.

Here’s What Official Says

While confirming the news, the news agency PTI, quoted the statement by the official, which says, “Traffic flow from Moti Nagar towards roundabout Punjabi Bagh to Vashisth Kumar Gulla Marg has been diverted, with Jersey barricades placed along the Ring Road.”

Affected Routes

The official has informed that the diversion is expected to impact traffic on nearby routes as well. The list includes Shiv Das Puri Marg, Punjabi Bagh’s Road No 41 near Gurudwara, and Traffic Training Park. The situation is likely to remain unchanged for at least one month.

Alternate Routes

In case you are planning to travel from Moti Nagar, going towards Ring Road, it has been advised to take Vashisht Kumar Gulla Marg route, and take a right onto Road No 41. It passes through Traffic Training Park, which will lead towards the Punjabi Bagh roundabout.

For the Raja Garden travelers, they can use newly constructed flyovers seamless movement. People from Dhaula Kuan can take a different route by turning right from Raja Garden Chowk. It will offer them a better route, allowing them to experience less traffic if going towards Shivaji Marg.
