The properties of fugitive designated global terrorist Dawood Ibrahim in Mumbai and Ratnagiri will be auctioned off on 5 January 2024, according to the Free Press Journal.

The four properties were confiscated under the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators Act (SAFEMA), which included bungalows and mango plantations in Ratnagiri’s Khed Taluka.

Previously, the authorities located and auctioned off many assets connected to Dawood Ibrahim’s family, including a restaurant that sold for 4.53 crore, six flats that sold for 3.53 crore, and a guest home that went for 3.52 crore.

Dawood Ibrahim’s Ratnagiri properties, which included two plots and a derelict fuel station, were auctioned off for 1.10 crore in December 2020. These properties were registered in the name of Dawood’s late sister, Haseena Parkar, in Lote village, Khed Taluka.

In April 2019, a 600-square-foot apartment in Nagpada was auctioned off for 1.80 crore. SAFEMA officials auctioned off Dawood’s property on Pakmodia Street in 2018 for a reserve price of 79.43 lakh, which was purchased by the Saifee Burhani Upliftment Trust (SBUT) for 3.51 crore.
